Job description

Missions:

1. Accountable for the full management of technical Procurement Categories such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and sanitary, electrical work, fire detection, lifts and elevators etc. at PVCP Group level, in accordance with the Group Procurement Strategy and Processes (i.e. it concerns a European scope)
2. Responsible for the full Sourcing Strategy & Process from Business Requirements consolidation up to contractualization and Supplier Relationship Management, in compliance with the Group Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility rules
3. Ensuring the on-going value proposition and competitiveness of category/ies under her/his/X responsibility in close collaboration with Group Business Lines
4. Ensuring that the category develops in line with the companies sustainability objectives: track and optimize the carbon trajectory, reduction of the ecological footprint, inclusion disabled people etc.

 

Responsibilities - Main tasks:

- Establish Team & Governance structure
Engagement & Teamwork with Business Lines for all expenditures with suppliers
° Obtain BL-strategies in conjunction with the category (impact analyses)
° Define AS-IS & Future vision on demand & spend process

- Gather data & analyze: internal, industry and market analysis
° Internally: Supply base, Spend-analysis, Budgets, BL strategies on category, CSR requirements etc.
° Industry: Level of competition, Price-composition, industry consolidation, Sustainability levels, Eco-impact scores, Branche agreements etc.
° Market: Trends, Alternatives, Complexity, Innovation, CSR development etc.

- Identify & quantify opportunities
° Identification: Quantitative / Qualitative
°° Qualitative: Solves a problem or Satisfies a need, Drives Innovation, Develops Partnership, CSR objective etc.
°° Quantitative: Value in saving or TCO
° Identification: CSR
°° Define CSR levers and weigh them in the decision making process

- Develop purchasing strategy options
° Make or Buy
° Source-to-Pay process

- Implementation of the strategy options
° Phased by scope & entity

- Contractualisation & Contract Management
° Lead contractualisation process in collaboration with legal department and in line with set Contract Management rules and processes
° Own the contract: monitor performance & drive yearly business reviews, challenge terms and conditions throughout duration of the relationship and develop Suppliers through progress plans while ensuring sustainability progress
° Own the CSR assessment of each supplier in the category and drive innovation and optimization of all sustainability levers

- Value proposition & competitiveness of Categories
° Continuously identify, prioritize and execute appropriate cost / margin optimization levers
° Evaluate / anticipate risks (in particular Business Continuity) and implement corrective plans if needed
° Evaluate sustainability drivers in the contracts and drive optimization and/or corrective plans
